Audio Team
Consists of Audio Engineer and Audio Assistant

The purpose of the Audio Team is to support and encourage worship by creating and blending the sound produced in a service or event.  This includes the band, vocalists, dramatists, speakers, sound effects and sound from videos or other playback systems.  This team will operate state-of-the-art equipment and be an integral part of worship services and events.

Time Commitment:  To be available to serve back to back services either on Saturday or Sunday.

Lighting Team
Consists of Light board operator and Electricians

The purpose of the Lighting Team is to be responsible for the effective use of illumination to contribute to the presentation of worship services and events.  Lighting combines both creative and technical expertise and can serve to enforce the message coming from the stage. 

Time Commitment: To be available to serve back to back services either on Saturday or Sunday.  Electricians are needed especially during special events such as the Christmas production – The Journey.

Stage Team
Consists of Stage Manager

The purpose of the Stage Team is to be responsible for moving people, props or other items during services or events.  The efficient flow of a service is essential to the proper communication of the message being presented.  The Stage Team keeps the ball rolling from one moment to the next in a timely and responsible manner.

Time Commitment: To be available to serve an entire weekend – 2 services Saturday evening and 2 services Sunday morning.

Video Team
Consists of Camera Operators, Screen Graphics Operator, Video Director, Video Switcher Operator

The purpose of the Video Team is to be responsible for editing and displaying images for the viewing screens.  This includes images from computer graphics, video playback and live camera feeds.  This team will provide selected elements and message recordings for all regional campuses.

Time Commitment: To be available to serve one full day of services during a weekend - 2 services Saturday evening and/or 2 services Sunday morning with the exception of camera operators which can be for as little as one service but preferably 2 back to back.

How do I help?

This team is open to technicians who have an interest in enhancing the worship life of SCC through the use of sound reinforcement, lighting, computer technology, and video support. In addition to the weekly positions to be filled, this team is seeking stand-by helpers to assist with stage changes, electrical work, and a host of other job tasks.
