SCC Kidz, Elementary

SCC Kidz is our Elementary Ministry for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. This ministry exists to lead kids to a life-changing connection with Jesus Christ.

Drop Zone

If your child is registered with SCC Kidz you can check them in through our computerized check-in.  Your child receives a name tag with a security code, and you  receive a security tag with matching code.  Only the person with the security tag is able to pick up the child.  If your child is not registered with us, you and your child receive an invisible stamp with a unique number.  Unless previous arrangements are made, only the person with the matching hand stamp is allowed to leave with the child.

Weekends (SCC Kidz)

Saturday at 4:30 & 6:15 p.m. and Sunday at 9:15 & 11 a.m.
Your child will attend SCC Kidz. This is a Large Group/ Small Group format.  Children are in the Clubhouse during the first 30 minutes hearing Biblical stories and values through a creative teaching style that is relevant to them. The rest of the hour, they are in Small Groups based on their age and grade to "unpack" what they learned in the Clubhouse. Small Group leaders challenge the kids with real-life ways to apply the Biblical principles they have learned.

High Voltage happens once a month during all worship services in the SCC Kidz Auditorium. It's a time for parents to "do church" with their kids.

Wednesday Night (Kidz Celebration)

6:45 p.m.
Wednesday nights at SCC for kindergarten-5th grade is Kidz Celebration, starting August 25.

Your elementary-age child enjoys a Clubhouse time based on their age (kindergarten-1st grade and 2nd-5th grades). In the Clubhouse they experience creative, relevant, age-appropriate, high-energy worship and teaching time.

After Clubhouse they go to graded Small Groups, where they are encouraged to make the Bible teaching they have heard real in their everyday lives. Kidz Celebration is a great way for your child to develop relationships with other kids and godly adults who encourage them as they grow in their faith.

Offering

Every week at Kidz Church we collect offering. We approach offering as a part of a worship experience by giving to God for all He has given to us. All of the offering we collect at Kidz Church goes toward the Imagine Campaign.

If your child is ready to make a decision for Christ and wants to be baptized, call us and set up an appointment to talk with a staff member.
