Kids Town
What is it?
Kids Town is the Early Childhood ministry of Savannah Christian Church, serving families with children from birth to Pre-K. Our mission is to partner with parents to lay a spiritual foundation in each child on their path to making a life changing connection with Jesus Christ.
Kids Town is not just child care. We believe that young children can learn not only who Jesus is, but that He loves them. To teach children this, Kids Town creates an environment that is intentional about certain intrinsic values. These values are:
- Child-targeted in our approach
- A safe place for our kids, emotionally and spiritually
- Age-appropriate teaching that is relevant to today’s kids
- Intentional shepherding through our small groups where we model Jesus and help kids apply what they have learned to their daily lives
- Teach the Bible creatively through our curriculum and programs
A FUN place for all kids to come
When is it?
Kids Town meets during all services. Check-in begins 30 minutes before service begins.
How do I help?
Kids Town volunteers impact children during the most important time of their lives. From birth to age 5 is when values, beliefs, and behaviors are formed that will often stick with children the rest of their life. Wow! What an amazing opportunity we have! No matter how you serve, you have the opportunity to eternally impact families.
Kids Town has a wide-range of serving opportunities from rocking babies to greeting guests to cleaning toys. There is place for you!
