What Happens at Church?

Weekends

Saturday at 4:30 & 6:15 p.m. and Sunday at 9:15 & 11 a.m.

Your child will attend Elevate during all weekend services. Children will participate in a Large Group Program during the first 30 minutes hearing Biblical stories and values through a creative and relevant teaching style.  The rest of the hour, they are in Small Groups based on their age and grade to "unpack" what they learned in Large Group. Small Group leaders challenge the kids with real-life ways to apply the Biblical principles they have learned.

During any of the weekend services your child has the opportunity to take communion as an act of worship.  Every week, they are reminded that communion is for people who have made a decision for Christ and have been baptized.  If they have not made that decision they need to wait until the time is right.

Wednesday Night

6:45 p.m.

Wednesday nights at SCC for kindergarten-5th grade is Elevate Extreme.  Your elementary-age child enjoys a Large Group time based on their age (kindergarten-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grades). In Large Group they experience creative, relevant, age-appropriate, high-energy worship and teaching time.

After Large Group they go to graded Small Groups, where they are encouraged to make the Bible teaching they have heard real in their everyday lives. Elevate Extreme is a great way for your child to develop relationships with other kids and godly adults who encourage them as they grow in their faith.

Wednesday night programming does not continue through the summer.
